The canvas is then encoded to JPEG through the browser's native canvas.toBlob() API. Quality & Scale Controls

Two levers determine output fidelity:

• Scale (DPI multiplier) — increases pixel dimensions. 2x produces images roughly twice the width and height of 1x, ideal for Retina/HiDPI screens.
• JPEG Quality — controls chroma and luma compression. 0.92 strikes the best balance between visual fidelity and file size.

What image quality should I choose?

Are my files uploaded to a server?
