Delete PDF Pages

Remove unwanted pages from any PDF directly in your browser. Flexible page range syntax, instant download. Free and 100% private. 100% free and private.

How to use

  1. Upload PDF — Drop in your PDF; the tool reads its page count.
  2. Specify Pages to Delete — Type pages like 2, 5-7, 12 — every other page is kept.
  3. Download Trimmed PDF — Get a brand new file without the unwanted pages.

The PDF Delete Pages tool removes unwanted pages from a PDF — blanks, ads, drafts, internal notes — and saves the result as a clean, smaller file. Everything runs in your browser, so confidential documents never leave your device.

Common Reasons to Delete PDF Pages

  • Remove blank pages after scanning a stapled document.
  • Strip ads and disclaimers from downloaded ebooks or whitepapers.
  • Cut internal notes before sharing a report with clients.
  • Trim sample chapters from a manuscript before submission.
  • Eliminate duplicate pages from poorly merged PDFs.

How It Works

The tool loads your PDF with pdf-lib, identifies the pages you want to keep, copies them into a new document, and saves the result. The pages you don't delete retain their original quality, fonts, and images — there is no re-encoding.

Range Syntax

The input is identical to our extraction tool. Use single numbers (5), ranges (3-8), or combinations (2, 7-9, 15). The tool parses your input, builds a "keep" list of the remaining pages, and rebuilds the PDF.

Privacy

Files are processed locally in the browser using JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded, cached, or transmitted. Safe for medical records, financial statements, contracts, and any confidential paperwork.

Frequently asked questions

How do I specify pages to delete?

Use comma-separated numbers and ranges. For example, '3, 7-9, 15' deletes page 3, pages 7 through 9, and page 15. All other pages stay in the original order.

Can I undo a deletion?

The original file you uploaded is unchanged on your computer. The tool produces a new file — simply reload the original and try different page numbers if you make a mistake.

Will the remaining pages be renumbered?

Physical page numbering depends on how the original PDF was made. If page numbers were typed into the document, they will not auto-renumber. Use our PDF Page Numbers tool afterwards to add fresh sequential numbers.

Why can't I delete every page?

A PDF requires at least one page. The tool blocks operations that would result in an empty file. Delete a smaller selection or use a different tool to convert the file.
