Frequently asked questions

What URLs are matched?

Any URL beginning with http:// or https://, plus optional bare www.* addresses if that toggle is on. Trailing punctuation (periods, commas, brackets) is automatically stripped.

Do query strings and fragments survive?

Yes — the matcher keeps the entire URL including ?query and #fragment so the list is usable for sitemaps and audits.

Is the input sent anywhere?

No. The regex runs in your browser. Use it on private or confidential text without concern.

How is this different from a sitemap generator?
